Welcome to the thoughts and mumblings of a mixed media/ assemblage artist. This is a place where you can get to know my art, the process and the artist behind it. I came to be a fine artist later in life, although I’ve always done art in some form.
For the last 34 years I’ve been a graphic designer. And I enjoyed it for the most part. But I started to notice I wasn’t having fun anymore. Then life happened and threw me on my ass. It opened doors and closed others. I was also given an amazing gift of time and space to explore my options for the next chapter of my life.
Being on a journey of transformation is scary and exciting all at the same time. But I am determined to open all the doors and leave no stone unturned. I’ve been taking classes to learn new skills. Challenging my fears and saying yes to new opportunities that life presents me with. And showing up with as much authenticity as I can muster. My art has opened me in ways I hadn’t considered.
